Kirk Evans

Kirk is a GIS analyst with 25 years of experience. After obtaining a B.S. in geological sciences from Cornell University he began his career in remote sensing and GIS analysis in support of vegetation mapping. This included 18 years as a contractor to the Forest Service where he focused on LiDAR processing and analysis and vegetation map updates for Region 5 Forests. When he's not busy with quality control and GIS analysis with the Product Operations, you'll find him cycling and tending to his bonsai and koi in Sacramento CA. Previously at Space Imaging, Tetra Tech and Sanborn Map Company.
