Vibrant Planet Appoints Shannon Nash as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Vibrant Planet, a technology company helping communities, utilities, and land managers mitigate wildfire risk, today announced the appointment of Shannon Nash as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Nash will lead operational strategy and execution, and financial management, as the company scales its impact across government partnerships and communities nationwide.

Shannon Nash brings 30+ years of finance and operations experience across high-growth technology companies, including roles as CFO at Wing (Alphabet’s drone delivery subsidiary), Reputation.com, and Insidesource. She is a licensed attorney and CPA and serves as a board director on NASDAQ-listed NetScout Systems, SoFi Bank, Lazydog Restaurants and as Audit Chair at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.

Nash joins Vibrant Planet at a pivotal point in its growth as the company scales partnerships across the country. “At a time when wildfires and natural disasters are reshaping how we live, the chance to help scale a platform that enables communities to make faster, smarter decisions to protect lives, infrastructure, and ecosystems is what drew me to Vibrant Planet,” she said. “The work we do today will define what we leave behind for future generations.”

“I’ve had the privilege of working with exceptional operators and finance leaders throughout my career,” commented Allison Wolff, CEO and co-founder of Vibrant Planet. “But finding the right partner at the right moment is rare. Shannon brings deep operational expertise, financial leadership that enables innovation, and—most importantly—a genuine commitment to climate solutions. She understands that at the scale we’re trying to achieve, we need both breakthrough innovation and operational excellence.”

Nash’s appointment strengthens Vibrant Planet’s leadership team as the company leverages AI and best-in-class wildfire risk modeling to help communities prevent catastrophic wildfires and protect ecosystems. Her experience scaling teams, managing complex partnerships, and building sustainable financial models will be essential to the company’s growth trajectory.

“Great operations and finance don’t just support mission—they enable it,” Nash added. “I’m honored to work alongside Allison and the Vibrant Planet team to build the operational foundation that will allow our innovation to scale across the communities and ecosystems that need it most.”
